David Thomson Hoadley's Obituary
David Thomson Hoadley, age 70, was surrounded by family when he passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
He was born on September 21, 1952 in Augusta, GA to Dallas Wilkinson and Jean Rose (Davies) Hoadley.
He was predeceased by his father Dallas W. Hoadley. Survivors include his mother Jean Hoadley of Fairfax, VA; loving wife Mary Pat Hoadley of Culpeper, VA; four children: Gwen Lowery (John) of Richmond, VA, Brandon Hoadley (Jill) of Richmond, VA, Christina Kearney (Andrew) of Culpeper, VA and Kathleen Langley (Jack) of Fairfax, VA; three siblings: Ellen Hoadley of Baltimore, MD, Stephen Hoadley (Donna) of Knoxville, TN and Melissa Hoadley Amr (Gus) of Fairfax, VA; eleven grandchildren: Samantha, Emma, Faith, Abigail, Megan, Caleb, Matthew, Lena, Nora, Nolan and Olivia; and many other family members.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 31st at 11:30am at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA 22701. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Parish Hall immediately after the Mass for lunch and memory sharing.
