You would have turned 22 today, that is a party that I can assure you I wouldnt miss. It would have been one to add to the long list of them that we'll always remember. Two years doesnt make things any easier. I really dont think that time can heal all wounds, I'd hope so, but I dont that the sadness can ever go away completely. I don't know your family and never met Justin, but want to let you know that I have thought of all of you so often. My granddaughter, Heather Hibbs, was taken from us due to a car accident just a few days before Justin's accident. I truly understand how heartbreaking and devasting this is. I still have a problem accepting the fact that Heather's no longer with us on this earth. I am thankful for the faith that I have and most thankful for the fact that she had shared with me how strong her faith was and the fact that Jesus was her Savior. Even so, the pain at times is still almost unbearable. Our lives have been changed forever. I never knew a person could shed so many tears. I recently began to begin each day by asking the Lord for peace to deal with all of this and it has helped, although I must admit I may be doing great one moment and the next I am overcome with grief. I just wanted your family to know that our family has thought of all of you and understand what you're going through. I just am writing this to thank everyone that has helped us in our time of need. I also want all of you to know that he may be gone but his spirit, love, laughter and much more still live on inside us all. So try not to remember the bad times, instead remember the way he made you laugh or the way held you in his arms when you were sad. I am truly sorry for the grief i have caused but you have to believe me that I truely loved your son. I loved your son and I know that he hated to see anyone unhappy and I guess thats why I decided to move on with my life. But I don't think I could have loved him any more than I did. A part of me died when he did and I truly wish that I could have taken his place. I seen that he had so many people that loved him and respected him that I only wish it was me instead of him it would be alot easier for him to move on rather than me.##imported-begin##heather##imported-end##
