Darryl Leonard Morris' Obituary
Darryl L. Morris, 53, of Spotsylvania County passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 18, 2017 surrounded by his family after fighting a valiant battle with brain cancer.
Darryl (aka, D-Mo) was born in North Carolina and grew up in California and Mississippi. He was a kind and gentle soul who loved his girls more than anything in this world. Darryl would tell you that his greatest accomplishments were his three daughters. He also loved music, animals (especially his dog, Silver), the beach, any kind of sports, and he was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
Darryl is survived by his three daughters, which he was most proud of, Kelcey Soto (Richard), Devon Dixit (Cheshil), and Celeste Morris; parents, Vernon and Barbara Morris; sisters, Cynthia Ruslander (Mike) and Deborah Andrews (Chip); brother, Dwayne Morris (Marie); numerous nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Morris.
Darryl’s family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m.
