Darling Evelyn Yeargin's Obituary
Darling Anderson Yeargin of Newport News and Smithfield, Virginia passed away on December 24, 2025.
To her family she was known as "Gran". Gran spent her life taking care of everyone that she loved in a way that cannot be described with words. Her love and patience were a blessing to her family. To be loved by her was a true gift from God.
Gran is survived by one brother, Clarence Anderson and his wife, Barbara; two children, Dena Yeargin Lillard and Barry Yeargin and his wife, Cathy; four grandchildren, Cagney Lillard Wilson and her husband, Windell, Cody Lillard, Danny Yeargin and his wife, Bree and Dylan Yeargin and his wife, Savannah; and six great-grandchildren, Remy and Calley Wilson, Harper and Pressley Yeargin and Lawson and Heidi Yeargin.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Darling Yeargin will be laid to rest at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2026 in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
