Danny Milton Cornwell's Obituary
Danny Milton Cornwell, 63, of Buckingham, formerly of Culpeper died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born on March 23, 1944 in Manassas, VA to Howard Cornwell and the late Marjorie Sloper Cornwell.
Danny enjoyed raising cattle, farming, bowling and going to the casinos. He was a character at heart and will be missed by all.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Gloria “Jeanne” Cornwell of Buckingham, VA, three children, Janene Marie Miller of Rural Retreat, VA, Dawna Marie Smith of Beaumont, Texas, and Troy Alan Cornwell of Dillwyn, VA.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Howard “Pooch” Cornwell, and Jerry Cornwell, one sister, Judy Kay Teevan, seven grandchildren, Brittany, Sean, Landon, Tyler, Jarred, Nathan and Hunter, two great grandchildren, Harley and Quinten, mother-in-law, Ruth E. Gardner, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, one sister-in-law and three brother-in-laws.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be held in Buckingham Community Cemetery on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be William Payne, Hugh Harlow, Robby Vogt, Cecil Hall, Greg Shifflett, and Gary Neff.
