Daniel John McStay, III's Obituary
Daniel John McStay, III, 76, of Marshall, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born August 21, 1930 in Sewickley, PA to the late Daniel John and Irene Williams McStay, II.
Mr. McStay was a member of the American Legion and a past member of the VFW. Mr. McStay served his country in the United States Air Force and United States Army for over forty years as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He enjoyed reading and cherished his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Shirley Flint McStay, two daughters, Valerie Frye and her husband, James of Slate Mills, VA, Kathleen Wagner and her husband, Dan of Baden, PA, his brother, William McStay of Aliquippa, PA, and two grandchildren, Amanda and Jessa Frye both of Slate Mills, VA.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Rapidan, P.O. Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701.
