Dana Lee Parks, Sr.'s Obituary
Dana Lee Parks, Sr., died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Daytona Beach, FL to the late Frank Alfred Parks, Jr. and Ruby Winstead Parks.
Dana loved watching football and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt #3. He drove truck all his life for companies like Pepsi Cola, McClain, and Cintas. Dana loved working and driving cars for CMA’s Honda of Lynchburg and Reynolds GMC of Orange.
He is survived by his children, Lee Parks, Jr. (Mitzi), Frank Parks, and Amanda Parks Chaney (Trey); step-daughter, Sarah Lyles Pembleton (Ronald Pembleton); grandchildren, Taylor Parks, Sadie Parks, Ady Davis, and Autumn Pembleton; sisters, Frankie Dalton; Allene Pack (Ron), and Sarah Thomas (Mike); brothers-in-law, David Lyles, Thomas Lyles, John Lyles, and David Webb; sisters-in-law, Linda Parks and Claudia Long; special niece, Gretchen Koenig; special friend, Tina Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dana is preceded in death by his wife, April Parks; one son, Daniel Parks; brothers, Chauncey Parks and Joy Elwood Long, Jr; and sister-in laws Elaine Webb and Barbara Lyles.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Kimberly Webb officiating.
Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
