Dan Gatling's Obituary
Dan Gatling, 59, of Arlington, formerly of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, May 22, 2015, at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. Dan was born on December 25, 1955 to Otis and Elizabeth Gatling.
Dan was an accomplished Carpenter for 30 years and a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis L. Gatling, Sr.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elizabeth Gatling, former wife of 30 years, Cheryl D. Gatling; two children, Trumekia D. Leonard (Leroy) of Fredericksburg, LaTanya E. Gatling-Taylor (Matthew) of Richmond; ten brothers and sisters Mary Donovan (Michael) of Richmond, Jerusha Gatling, Debbie Foxx (Boyd), Diane Jackson (Ralph) all of Fredericksburg, Lisa Fortune (Troy) of Dallas, TX; Otis L. Gatling, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Randolph Gatling, Roosevelt Gatling Timothy Gatling (Gail), all of Fredericksburg, Jeffrey Gatling of Charlotte, NC and four grandchildren, Alexander, Ma’tison Skye, Taylor Gatling, Tonasia D. Chandler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
