Dallas McFarland's Obituary
Dallas McFarland, 83, of Chantilly died Saturday July 8, 2017 at Novant Prince William Hospital. He was born May 4, 1934 in Lignum to the late Clarence McFarland and Minnie Fox McFarland.
He was a member of Broad Run Baptist Church, was an avid Nascar fan and loved trucks of all shapes and sizes. He was the proud founder of McFarland Trucking company.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Wayne McFarland and his wife, Barbara of Catlett; a daughter, Donna Sisk and her husband, Gary of Warrenton; a sister, Margaret Ann Gore and her husband, Ray of Culpeper ; and a brother, James H. McFarland also of Culpeper; three grandchildren, Dallas Wade McFarland, Amanda Rose McFarland and Natalie Ann McFarland in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and dearest loved ones.
In addition to his wife Margaret Lillard McFarland, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest McFarland, Richard McFarland, and John Henry McFarland; and two sisters, Emma Stanley and Clara Settle.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday July 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Rev. Henry Stanley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Bethsaida United Methodist Church Cemetery in Brightwood.
