Dale Evelyn Hunter Burke's Obituary
Dale Evelyn Hunter Burke, 68, currently a resident of Montvue Nursing Home, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, Virginia. She was born June 14, 1945 in Maryland to the late Howard Hunter and the late Kathleen Hunter Ricketts.
Her life was all about God first, her son second, and her grandchildren. Her favorite saying was, “It’s just another day.”
She is survived by her son, Jeff Burke, and his wife, Becky, of Washington, Virginia. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeffrey Burke, Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Luray, Charles M. Burke and his fiance’, Jessie Anderson, of Middleburg, and Krystal L. Burke of Washington.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Cindy Shaw of Tennessee and Kathy Patterson of Texas, and one brother, Doug Ricketts of Washington, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Hunter, Chuck Ricketts, Jr. and Eddie Ricketts.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
