Cyrus Odes Morrison's Obituary
Cyrus Odes Morrison, 88, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Cyrus was a member of The Bridge Worship Center. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, and he loved to be outdoors.
Cyrus is survived by his daughter, Muriel Mitchell and her husband, John of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren, John Mitchell, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Fredericksburg and Andrew Mitchell and his wife, Crystal of Spotsylvania County; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Xavier, Xander, and Rylan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Morrison.
Cyrus’ family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
