Curtina "Nina" Michele Johnson's Obituary
Curtina "Nina" Johnson, age 48, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on March 27, 2025 at Stafford Hospital. Born on March 28, 1976 in South Williamson, KY, she was a beloved wife, devoted mother, and passionate friend. Her passing leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love to all those who knew her.
Nina was a devoted mother who spent her days guiding and loving her children. She found joy in watching her children grow and in spending time with friends and family on adventures across the country. She was known for her infectious laugh, sense of humor, and glorious smile that would light up the room. Despite her medical issues of recent years, her spirit and faith never wavered and sustained her.
Nina is survived by her husband, Jeff; her children, Joseph Benjamin and Sera Rose; and her three furchildren, Kitty, Tigger, and Blaze.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Keen; her mother, Barbara Lell; and her grandparents, Roy and Tennessee Lell. Her furchildren, Trouble, Kai, and Angel have already crossed the Rainbow bridge and await her on the other side.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, or the family requests that donations be made in her memory to The National Kidney Foundation.
Captain Nina, pirate princess, warrior poet, and hero will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, and written in the stars.
