Courtney L. Campbell's Obituary
Courtney Campbell, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 29, 2024 at his home and is reunited in heaven with his Lord.
Court was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Warren High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his law degree from DePaul University. Court dedicated 22 years of his life to the Navy. He was proud to be one of the first reservists to become an intelligence officer. Court continued to dedicate his life to others by practicing immigration law. Most of his cases were asylum- related and he loved to help others with their complicated situations. In his spare time, he loved to read books, hike, travel, and spend time with his family. He had recently moved to Spotsylvania, Virginia in May of 2024. Court was described many times as a sweet, gentle man. Most of all, he was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and a devout Christian.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Eunju Campbell; his children, Angela Campbell (Aaron Misera) and Andrew Campbell (Yoonha); a granddaughter, Louie Misera; a sister, Carla Higgs (Paul); and a nephew, Collin Higgs.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
