Constance Frances Miska's Obituary
Constance Miska, 95, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center.
Constance was a member of quilting clubs in Fredericksburg and Pennsylvania; where she was a master quilter and taught others to quilt.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, gardening, spending time with her family, and being part of a group. Constance was outgoing and was loved by everyone she met.
Constance is survived by her children, Fred Miska and Nancy Newman (John), all of Fredericksburg, and Jean DeVre (Rick) and Debbie Beck, all of NY; son-in-law, Stephen Beck of NY; her nephew, James Guariglia (Lisa) and their daughter, Rachel, of NY; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Carole, Joanne, Phillip, Kenneth, and Amanda; four great grandchildren, Brittany, Amanda, Nathan, and EmmaJo; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Peter Miska and her brother, James Guariglia.
Constance’s family will receive friends from 5:00 ~ 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Lottie Moon Fund at Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
