Connie Marie O'Malley's Obituary
Connie Marie Jones O'Malley, 35, of Spotsylvania County died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.
A 1993 graduate of Chancellor High School, Connie was also a former employee of The Free Lance-Star.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Phyllis J. Wheeler and Robert L. Jones; maternal grandparents Mary Ann and John C. McDonald; and her uncle Jr. Jones.
Survivors include her husband, Robert O'Malley; her daughter, Kristen O'Malley, and her son, Cody R. O'Malley, of Spotsylvania; her parents, Tony L. and Cathy M. Jones of Spotsylvania; and her brother, Rodney Jones, his fiancee, Tammy Hilldrup, and their three children, Christina, Brittney and Izik Hilldrup, also of Spotsylvania.
Connie had a heart of gold, and she enjoyed music and spending time with her children, her family, and the family pug, Ody.
She will be forever in our hearts.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at Found & Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
Pallbearers for the funeral will include: Danny, Ricky and Johnathan McDonald, Shawn and John John Wolfrey, and Troy Blankenbaker.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
