Colleen Dennis Lewis' Obituary
Colleen Dennis Lewis, 86, of Virginia Beach, formerly of Alexandria, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1931 in Rappahannock to the late William and Alice Zombro Dennis.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Lincolnia Methodist Church in Alexandria.
She is survived by her son, Simon Lewis; two sisters, Clarice D. Henderson of Virginia Beach and Alice Joye Scott of Amherst, VA; 20 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil R. Lewis; and six siblings, Warren E. Dennis, Richard C. Dennis, Thomas J. Dennis, William B. Dennis, Jr., Gloria O. Osteen and Ruth V. Beddingfield.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (Old Section).
