Colin Timothy Moore's Obituary
Colin Timothy Moore, loving husband and father, age 42 of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Tim was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 29, 1980. As a local graduate of Spotsylvania High School class of 2000 he was a proud member of the 1997 Varsity State Championship football team. He was also enrolled in the school’s vocational auto body repair program. With a desire to further that education, he enrolled and became a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College where he earned his ASE certification. Tim was an honored and respected employee of the Prince William County Service Authority for the past 18 years as a fleet mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Myrtle Moore; his paternal grandfather, William J. Moore; and his maternal grandfather, Marlin Sessler.
Tim is survived by his wife, Alexis Moore; his daughter, Jade Moore and his son, Josh Moore of Spotsylvania; his father, William R. Moore and his wife, Beverly Moore of Spotsylvania; his mother, Berlin Marsh and her husband, Bob Marsh of Pittsburgh, PA; his brother, William W. Moore and his wife, Shellee Moore and their children Marie Lansdown, Cody Moore, and Robert Moore of Spotsylvania; his sister, Christina Hecker and her husband, Philip Hecker and their child Lauren Berben of Chesterfield; his sister, Tracy Ellis and her husband, William Ellis and their children Scott Mills, Brittany Ellis, and Taylor Ellis of Powhatan; his maternal grandmother, Bernice Sessler of Smithfield, PA; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4th at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3rd at the funeral home.
