Clinton Burnett Creel's Obituary
Clinton Burnett Creel, 77, of Culpeper passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1935 in Rixeyville to the late Raymond and Nettie Gray Creel.
Mr. Creel was a devoted member of Alum Springs Baptist Church for over 40 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Creel; two children, Rebecca C. Reid of Omaha, NE and Barbi Lisa Creel Yates and her husband, Paul of Clarion, PA; three grandchildren, Robert Reid and his wife, Lindsey of Culpeper, Ryan Reid of Omaha, NE and Bernie Lee Yates of Clarion, PA; and two siblings, Stanley and Kelly Creel.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Pete Creel and his infant sister, Elizabeth Creel.
The church will hold a memorial service on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 3 pm at Alum Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Young officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
