Clayton Adams Fletcher's Obituary
Clayton Adams Fletcher 79, of Fredericksburg, Virginia formerly of Atco, New Jersey passed on Thursday June 8, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Clayton was born February 2, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland to William and Reta Fletcher. He was the oldest of seven children.
Clayton served in the Army from 1965-1967. Clayton moved to New Jersey and became a plumber. Clayton eventually opened his own plumbing business, Clayton Fletcher Plumbing and Heating, which he had for more 40 years until he retired. After retirement he moved to Fredericksburg.
Clayton enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was always quick with a joke and was a generous caring man. He loved his daughter and his hound dogs.
Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, William and Reta Fletcher.
Clayton is survived by his daughter, Katina Largent (Ronnie); sister, Kay Brooks (Floyd); brother, Bill Fletcher (Linda); sisters, Jill Koos (Bill), and Vicki Gard (Jim); brother, Jeff Fletcher; and sister, Cheryl Dufficy (Craig); grandchildren, Karrie and Damien; lots of nieces and nephews; and his former wife and caretaker, Sharon Fletcher.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg.
