Claudia M. Watkins' Obituary
Claudia M. Watkins, 93 of Spotsylvania County passed away Thursday May 6, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Always a lady, Claudia was a very creative person. She attended White Oak Baptist Church.
She leaves behind one son Ronnie Watkins and his wife, Elaine, of Spotsylvania; one grandson, Ronnie Watkins Jr. of Spotsylvania, one granddaughter, Claudia Sisk and her husband Scott of Spotsylvania; two great-grandsons, Justin and Zachary Sisk of Spotsylvania; one sister, Mary Lee Carter of Fairfax; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Watkins, and her brother, Frank Miller.
Claudia’s family will receive friends Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road Fredericksburg, Virginia. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 10, 2010 at noon at Overlook Cemetery in Eden, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2217 Princess Anne Street Fredericksburg, Virginia.
