Clarence Corbin's Obituary
Clarence Russell Corbin, 84, of Reva died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born October 15, 1926 in Sperryville to the late Albert Clark and Laura Woodward Corbin.
Mr. Corbin attended Wolftown Pentecostal Church, was a former Mason of the Barboursville Lodge and a member of the Ranger Infantry Companies (Airborne) of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Janet K. Corbin, four children, Joyce Santamaria of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joseph Wayne Corbin of Enterprise, AL, Susan K. Filiault of Mexico Beach, FL, David William Corbin and his partner, Matthew Litton of Philadelphia, PA, one brother, A.C. Corbin and his wife, Doris of Culpeper, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Allen Corbin, one sister, Kathleen Coppedge, one great grandchild, and his first wife, Pauline Corbin.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Shifflett officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
