Clarence "CJ" Edward Hunter Jr.'s Obituary
Clarence “CJ” Edward Hunter, Jr., 31, of Orange, VA passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1989 in Culpeper to Clarence Hunter, Sr. and Shelia Hunter.
In addition to his parents, CJ is survived by his granddaddy, Freddy Strother, Sr.; grandma, Elizabeth Strother; godfather, Melvin White (Sherry); siblings, Jamal Hunter (Amber), Quintin Hunter (Kalen), and Iesha Hunter; niece, Nylah Hunter; cousins, Omar Washington, Steve Strother, Freddie Strother, III (Jen), Bryce, Cherish, Niakita Cruz (Luis); uncles, Freddie Strother, Jr. (Ivadean), John Strother (Deborah), Mike Strother (Barbara), Richard “Junie” Hunter; aunts, Debbie Hagans and Hazel Washington, and a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
CJ is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Odessa Hunter and Sam Lee.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, 19103 Brick Church Road, Orange, VA 22960 with Rev. Bernard Graham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Due to COVID mandates, masks are required to enter the building.
Interment is private.
