Clarence "Brownie" Brown Sr.'s Obituary
Clarence “Brownie” Brown, Sr., 89, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at his home.
Brownie was a loving husband who loved his family dearly. He was a gifted mechanic and loved working on cars.
Brownie was a great youth league baseball coach, who enjoyed visiting his boyhood home in Maine, and eating the seafood.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nancy; his children, Cynthia Brown Jones (William) of Chesterfield, Ray Brown (Debra) of Stafford, Michael Brown (Elizabeth) of Fairfax County, and Christy Davis (Jeff) of Spotsylvania County; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Chester Brown (Harriett) and sister, Regina Eaton, all of Maine; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
