Clara Virginia Weakley's Obituary
Clara Virginia Weakley, 81, of Culpeper, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at Orange County Nursing Home. She was born on November 24, 1925 in Madison, VA to the late William Albert Woodward and Sarah Elizabeth Fincham Woodward.
Mrs. Weakley is survived by her daughters, Doris Summers and her husband, Johnny of Reva and Gladys Malpass and her husband, Henry of Unionville, seven grandchildren, Valerie Spencer, Norma Jean Miss, Luther “Luke” Hardy, Charles Hardy, Debbie Sisk, Connie Miller, and Thomas Kennedy, twelve great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Oscar Sisk, her second husband, Raymond Milton Weakley, her granddaughter, Helen Clatterbuck and eight siblings, Betty Shumaker, Ruth Lillard, Catherine Nicholson, Moses Woodward, Daniel Woodward, Ross Woodward, Henry Woodward and Albert Woodward.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Thoroughfare Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Utz officiating.
Interment will follow in Thoroughfare Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Luther “Luke” Hardy III, Charles Hardy, Wayne Miss, Geoffrey Ward, Thomas Kennedy, Christopher Summers, Matthew Jenkins, and Timothy Jenkins.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Thoroughfare Baptist Church, PO Box 838 Madison, VA 22727.
