Clair Eddy Cook's Obituary
Clair Eddy Cook, 77, of Culpeper, passed away November 11, 2024, at Poets Walk in Warrenton, VA. Clair was born on October 11, 1947, in Charlottesville, VA to the late William Matthew Eddy, Jr., and Katherine Powers Yancey Eddy.
Clair was an active volunteer. When she lived in Deltaville she would volunteer with local museums. While in Culpeper she would volunteer as a Pink Lady with Culpeper Hospital. Clair worked a dental hygienist both in Culpeper with Dr. Parr at All Smiles Dental and with Dr. Mark Neal in West Pointe. While in Culpeper she also worked at Levy’s Jewelers.
Clair is survived by her sister, Katherine Eddy of Culpeper and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Clair is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” E. Cook, and her brother, William Matthew Eddy, III.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, for both Robert and Clair at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA 22701.
