Christopher Lyn Sullivan's Obituary
Christopher Lyn Sullivan of Spotsylvania , was called home Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 11, 1970 in Fredericksburg, Virginia to the late Sonny and Linda Sullivan.
Chris had so much enthusiasm for life with a contagious laugh. He enjoyed singing classic rock at the top of his lungs and dancing. Anyone that met him loved him and can attest to his bigger than life spirit and heart. He was a selfless man who always gave and never asked for anything in return.
Chris served in the Army during Operation Desert Storm & the Gulf War.
Chris was an avid Metal Detector and was always itching to go on his next dig. He enjoyed finding relics with his son (bestfriend) Mark. It didn’t matter how big or little the find was, his eyes lit up when he heard the metal detector tone. He couldn’t wait to teach his grandson Carter to metal detect.
Chris carried great pride in the love of his family. He was a loving Husband, Father and Paw Paw. He enjoyed our family tradition of hunting for shark teeth and arrowheads in Westmoreland Va, looking at antique shops with the love of his life and playing with his grandson. Chris was the foundation to our family.
Chris leaves behind the love of his life, of 23 years Zelda, His son Mark Carter, his daughter Ashley Munsell (Mitchell), his grandson Carter Munsell, sisters Hollie Sullivan-Perry, Sonnie Sullivan and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Kristina Sullivan and granddaughters, Sutton and Layne Munsell.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
