Christine Ann Skowronski's Obituary
Christine Ann Skowronski, 74, of Encinitas, CA, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA.
She was born on October 8, 1948 in Medford, Massachusetts to the late James and Anna (Shine) Hansen.
An alumna of Boston College and Northeastern University's graduate school, Christine spent many years as a teacher of high school English and drama in Chelmsford, Massachusetts before she married and moved to California. She was a talented painter and pianist, and she had a lifelong love of dogs. Her quick wit and sardonic sense of humor, as well as her devotion to her family, will especially be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Skowronski, and her two daughters, Elaine and Natasha Skowronski.
A Funeral Mass for Christine will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA 22747 with Father Kevin J. Beres presiding. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
