Christine Dugan Guzman's Obituary
Christine D. Guzman, 40, of Culpeper died Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1978 in Culpeper to Richard and Beth Smith Dugan.
Christine was an Administrative Assistant at Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. and a former cemetery representative for Culpeper National Cemetery. She was the owner of Bella J. Cucina Restaurant in Locust Grove and a former Para educator for the Trier School of Culpeper County Public Schools as well as St. Luke’s Lutheran School.
In addition to her parents and grandmother, Rebecca Bostwick of Tybee Island, GA, she is survived by her four children, Julian, Isabella, Jacob and Joseline Guzman, all of Culpeper; one sister, Lauren Dugan of Wichita, KS; one grandson, Eli Young of Culpeper; and the father of her children, Samuel Guzman-Nolasco.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Duane “Cotton” Dugan; and maternal grandparents, Ronald and Ellen Smith.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life service , Friday, February 15, 2019 at 12 pm at Salem Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 13428 Scotts Mill Road, Culpeper, VA 22701.
