We were very sorry to hear of Virgina Tesoro’s death. We remember her from Leewood as the vibrant funloving good hearted woman in the dark swimsuit and rakish straw hat with the ready smile and quick sense of humor. She, her family, the Picas, Mrs. Tarpey, and a dark haired lady always occupied the seats in same sunny corner by the stairs year after year- it was an integral part of Leewood as we knew it. The best part for us as children was watching Mrs. Tesoro at play during adult swim. No one had as much fun as she nor got away with as much!!!. While we may not have known her in her later years, the lady we remember was a model of someone who knew how to enjoy her life and appreciate all with good humor and a nice person. Unfortunately it looks like we won’t be able to get over tonight, but we send our love and condolences to Bobbie, Ginnie, Vickie, the Picas and the rest of the family.
