Cheryl Mae Shultz's Obituary
Cheryl Mae Shultz, 62, of Culpeper, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her residence. She was born on August 18, 1963, to Myra Jo Simpson and the late Paul Houston Muterspaw.
Cheryl was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and faithful wife whose love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life. She will be remembered for her unwavering support, kindness, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Gerald M. Shultz; daughters, Jennifer Keller, Melissa Shultz (Jose Corretjer), Christina Bray (Douglas); grandchildren, Justin Keller, Alyssa Keller, Reyna Corretjer, and Nya Bray; step-father, William “Bill” Simpson; siblings, Paul Shepherd (Beverly) and Karen Burman; brother-in-law, Jay Shultz (Lisa); sister-in-law, Jane Lowther; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her father, Cheryl is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Pate.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 12 p.m. at Found and Son Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
