Cheri Bishop's Obituary
Cheri Kay Bishop, 48, of Partlow died Monday, July 9, 2007 at her home.
She was born in Washington, DC to the late, Betsy and Julius Smith, Sr.
Cheri loved to dance and teach dance.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles Edwind Squeeky Bishop, III; three sons, Charles E. Bishop, IV and his wife, Melissa and Brian K. Bishop, all of Spotsylvania and Travis S. Bishop of the home; a daughter, Shawna M. Bishop of the home; a brother, Jay J. Smith of Spotsylvania; three sisters, Dolores Foley and Cheryl Bury, both of Spotsylvania and Caryn Horrell and her husband, Jackie of Maryland; four grandchildren, Brooke Hanson, Jordan Bishop, Steven Saylor and Kyle Saylor all of Spotsylvania; five nieces and seven nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday July 16, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Tuesday July 17, 2007 at 11:00am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. James R. Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Bishop Family Cemetery.
