Charlotte Elizabeth Gaines' Obituary
Charlotte Elizabeth Gaines, 79, of Sperryville, died Monday, August 29, 2022 at Autumn Care of Madison, in Madison, VA. She was born July 28, 1943 in Rappahannock County to the late Clarence and Lucy Jenkins.
Charlotte is survived by her special friend, James Michael Corbin; one son, Stuart Gaines; two grandchildren, Colby Gaines and Toby R. Bridge; her brother-in-law, Bernie Jenkins; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by one son, John T. “Tommy” Gaines; one brother, Charles H. Jenkins, and two sisters, Linda J. Jenkins and Mary J. Parvin (Rudy).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 6131 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22713, with John Heddleston officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte’s name to the Rappahannock Senior Citizen Site.
