Charles Stephens
Charles Richard Stephens, 69, formerly of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, February 9, 2009 in Corydon, Indiana.
Richard is a member of several organizations including, VFW, American Legion, and NRA. He was a staunch Republican and a proud U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Stephens of Locust Grove, Karen Stephens of Fredericksburg, and Michelle Washington and her husband, Frederick of Fredericksburg; one sister, Mary Beth McLean of Idaho; four grandchildren, Lauren Burnette, Maya Washington, Frederick Washington, Jr., and Miles Washington; a loving companion, Mary Black; and dear friend and loving mother of his children, Judy Rockwell.
Richard’s family will receive friends from 10:00 ~ 11:00 am Monday, February 23, 2009 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel ~ Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel. Interment will be in Quantico National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
