Charles Dorsey Garten, Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Dorsey “Sonny” Garten, Sr. 59 of Remington who died on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born on September 24, 1948 inb Alexandria, VA to the late Dorsey and Mary Marcum Garten.
He is survived by his 3 sons Charles Dorsey Garten, Jr. and his wife Dara of Remington, David and is wife Elizabeth of Leesburg and Bill of Manassas, his four grandchildren Alyson, Jimmy, Carly and Joshua, his sisters Gale Garten of Manassas, Lola Nicholson and her husband George of Remington and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Madison.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 14, 2008 from 7 to 9pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 15, 2008 at 11am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.
