Charles William "Bill" Lidie's Obituary
Ret. MSgt. Charles W. “Bill” Lidie went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2013. He was born in 1932 in Washington DC. At the age of 2, his family moved to Bethesda, Maryland.
MSgt “Bill” Lidie served in the US Navy and the US Airforce. He left a “Legacy of Love” wherever he went.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 44 years and 3 months, Jacqueline Lidie; and five daughters and their families, MSgt Tammy J. Lucas and her husband, MSgt. LaDarick Lucas and their two children, Javon and Jayla of Cibolo, TX, Anita Williams and her husband, Clifford and their two children, Cheyenne and Nathan of Fuguay-Varina, NC, Dianne and Richard Harrington and their sons, Shea and Kyle of Statesville, NC, Karen and Herbie Sampsel and their sons, Jesse and David of Statesville, NC, Susan and Charles Martin and their two children, Caleb and Victoria of Statesville, NC.
He also leaves behind two stepchildren, Harold Creel and his wife, Martha and sons, Mike, James and Danny of Burton, WV and Thelma Flanagan and her husband, David and their two children, David Jr. and Rachel of Dundalk, MD.

Friends and family are all welcomed to share in his home going memorial service on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11 am at the New Section of Culpeper National Cemetery, E. Chandler St. in Culpeper.
