Charlie, I know you weren't The Phantom, but just like Batman had his Robin, The Phantom had his Old Shoe accomplice. Kevin and I just spent an hour googling the spots in Myrtle beach that he, you, and Bob Brooks played golf in. I hope they have a set of clubs for you in heaven! Hugs and kisses and let me know if there's not enough chocolate up there. I'll pay the shipping charges. This is the last photo I had with Charlie and Bob Brooks in 2024. Ed Episcopo came up to Lake Ridge to join us for lunch at Mission BBQ.

We tried every year to get together for lunch with many of our Pepco friends. It gave us a chance to tell all of the great stories of the fun times we had together. It kept us in touch with people who played an important role in our lives. Friendship and fun that last forever.

Charlie, Bob and I used to make an annual trip to Myrtle Beach, in September, to play golf. In the later years, Maurice (Smitty) Smith would join us for the week. While Smitty did not play golf, he would fish while we were off losing golf balls out on the courses.

Friends and family were the tapestry of our lives. Even during our Myrtle Beach trip, we would arrange golf outings with family and friends. Doug Young worked for Computer Sciences for several years. Both his father and uncle had retired to the MB area. We always tried to line up a golf outing with both of them. As well, Bob had found a friend that he had gone to school with down near Pawley's Island. We always made the trek down to play a round with him on his home course.

The stories and memories of these trips will last forever.
