Charles Lindberg Settle's Obituary
Charles Lindberg Settle, 84, of Warrenton died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born August 25, 1928 in Culpeper to the late Minnie and Callie Fincham Settle.
Mr. Settle was a wonderful person. He loved horses, music, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by two children; Dianne L. Culton and her husband, Richard of Warrenton and Mona Carol Shelton McDonald and her husband, Johnnie of Orange; one sister, Edna Green; six grandchildren, Mathew Aaron Culton, Michael Vincent Culton, Rodney Shelton, Danny McDonald and his wife, Hannah, Rick McDonald and Jonathan McDonald; and six great grandchildren, Aaralyn, Reagan, Courtney, Kayla, Logan and Tyler McDonald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Lee Kasey Settle; one son, Charles Lee Settle; infant daughter, Deborah K. Settle; and four siblings, Albin Settle, Howard Settle, Melvin Settle and Roberta Fender.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5, at 11am at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor David Roberts officiating.
