Charles William Rodgers' Obituary
Charles William (Frog) Rodgers, 62, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Charles loved to work on cars and doing small engine repairs. He was known as a jokester to all that met him.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Sandy; his son, Kevin; his mom, Catherine; his sister, Joyce and her husband, James; two brothers, Lloyd Rodgers and his wife, Audrey and Clarence Rodgers and his wife, Penny, all of Spotsylvania County; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cleve Rodgers and a brother, Thomas Rodgers.
Charles’ family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Rodgers, Cleve Rodgers, Keith Rodgers, Kenneth Rodgers, Brian Frazier and Matthew Frazier.
In lieu of flowers, Charles’ family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to his mother, Catherine Rodgers, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
