Charles Roy Ogden's Obituary
Charles Roy Ogden, 92, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, December 18, 2020.
Charles was a proud Army veteran. He was honorably discharged in 1950 and then served in the Army Reserves until he retired as a commanding officer in 1964. Charles was a proud 32nd degree Mason and member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Mason Lodge #314. He was a dedicated member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg, Va.
He is survived by his children, Beverley Peters (Dan), Daniel Ogden (Karla), Emily Duperock (John) and Stephen Ogden (Barbara); son-in-law, Tom Thompson; a brother, Carl Ogden; two sisters, Donna Quigley (John) and Gloria Wurster (Larry); nine grandchildren; two great grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving extended family.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, June Ogden; and a daughter, Janet Thompson.
He will be laid to rest with his wife at Mount Joy Cemetery in Clearfield, PA. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
