Charles Luger's Obituary
Charles George Luger, of Fredericksburg died Monday, November 6, 2006 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the New York City Fire Department after more than 31 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Luger; four children, Karen Gordon and her husband, Donal, Diane Moen and her husband, Larry, Matthew Luger and Michele Luger; six grandchildren, Declan, Brendan, Siobhan, Tiernon, Donal and Sarah; a sister, Marilyn Oberstein and many friends that are like family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 pm and Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, corner of Courthouse Road and Southpoint Parkway. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Bette Goglia officiating.
