Charles Donnell Howell's Obituary
Charles Donnell Howell, 94, of Culpeper, VA passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born December 12, 1928 to the late Charlie Burchard Howell and Gladys Mae Howell in Cottonwood, AL.
Don was a veteran of the Korean War. He was member of the American Legion in Manassas, VA. Don had a love for photography, but his first love was fishing.
Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lucy Mildred Howell; children, Charles “Chuck” Howell (Carol) and Sharon Miksit (Bob); grandchildren, Donnell Howell (Krystal), Brad Howell, and Jennifer Shaw (Eric); great- grandchildren, Laci Zier, Brett Howell, Braden Howell, Cash Shaw, and Mason and Logan Gray and their father, Ken Gray; step great- grandchildren, Brandon Newcomer and Jaslyn Newcomer; a nephew, Roger Hall (Cindy); niece, Diane Granger (Gary); and a host of additional family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Rose Howell; sister, Nell “Myra” Hall (Theo); granddaughter, Julie Gray; and nephew, Wallace Hall.
Services will be private.
