Charles Ralph Harrison's Obituary
Charles Ralph Harrison, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Fredericksburg, VA. Chuck was born February 15, 1954 in Miami, FL to Helen Glauser and Robert Harrison.
Chuck is survived by his loving spouse of 46 years, Wendy J. Harrison; four children, Charles (Alica), Justin (Daisey), Amanda, and Parry (Kyla); 12 grandchildren, Summer, Charles, Isabella, Collin, Mia, Hunter, Dylan, Savanna, Aiden, McKenzie, Logan, and Brenden; stepmother, Joan Harrison; siblings, Jimmy Harrison, Joyce Heyl (Joe), William Parry (Rebecca), Patricia Cardillo (Raymond), Carol Somers (Clinton), David Parry (Margie), and Stephan Parry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Davis A. Harrison; his parents, Helen Glauser and Robert Harrison; in-laws, Mavis and William Parry; and siblings, Robert Harrison, and Cheryll Harrison.
Chuck was a dedicated and loving father. His world revolved around his family. He found great joy in fishing, football, camping, traveling, motorcycle riding, and adventures. When the children were growing up, he was very involved in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts.
Chuck, aka Chuckles or Chuckie Baby was a patient, kind soul who would help anyone in need. He had his own construction company (WC & Sons Remodeling) and thoroughly enjoyed what he did, the pride he took in the finished project, and the many good customers he had throughout his career.
Chuck's wishes were to be cremated. A joint celebration of life will be held for both Chuck and David, who passed during Covid. The celebration will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at St. Matthias United Methodist Church, 426 Deacon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. The family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 p.m. following the service with light food and refreshments.
