Charles Eugene Gosling's Obituary
Charles E. Gosling, 84, of Lignum died Friday, October 29, 2010 at the University of VA Medical Center.Mr. Gosling was born February 7, 1926 in Newton Falls, Ohio to the late Charles Gosling and Evelyn Gilliam Gosling.
Mr. Gosling was a member of the Orange Church of the Nazarene. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in World War II and member of VFW Post # 2524. He loved his wife and children and he enjoyed fishing, bingo and the Charlestown races.
Charles is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ada Mae Gosling, three daughters, Donna Gail Sanchez and her husband, Sergio of Locust Grove, Ginger Lynn Morris of Manassas and Marjorie P. Sprouse and her husband, Glenn of Madison and one son, Thomas William Pyne and his wife, Nancy Ann of Lignum.
Additional survivors include ten grandchildren, Sammie Gosling, Roger Ryder, Teresa Spence (Jon), Misty Morris, Charity Kelley (Larry), Steve Fincham II, Catina Irving (Robert), Michael Tanner( Michelle), Karen Hash (Chris) and Susan Pruitt (Chris), sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, David Eugene Gosling and Gary Alvin Gosling.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 11 am at Culpeper National Cemetery (New Section) with Pastor Bill Curry officiating, military honors provided by American Legion Post #330 and VFW Post #2524.
The family will receive friends from 9am until service time at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
