Charles Curtis Diffenderfer's Obituary
Charles Curtis Diffenderfer, 71, of Madison, VA passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at his home. He was born June 15, 1951, to the late Curtis and Maggie Diffenderfer in Jonesville, VA. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Diffenderfer, his sisters, Helen Combs and Aileen Wilder; his brothers, Terry Diffenderfer and Kenneth Diffenderfer; and brothers-in-law, M.O. Combs and Clarence Wilder.
Charles is survived by his wife of 17 years, Diana Diffenderfer; children, Stephanie Diffenderfer (P.J. Betz), Curtis Diffenderfer (Theresa), Jessica Weimer (Tom Gilligan), and Jeremy Stiver (Elizabeth Spain); and fifteen grandchildren, Kenneth, Grace, Casey, Holly, Caitlin, Tabitha, LeeAnn, Alexus, Harmonee, Haley, Taralyn, Emma, Chase, Austin, and Mattox; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Miles (Bill), Lois Patterson (Steve), Stella Boetker (Roland), and Arleen Arwood (Gary); sisters- in- law, Barbara Diffenderfer and Wanda Diffenderfer. In addition to his immediate family, Charles is survived by numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends December 10th at 6-8pm, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on December 11th at 2pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper with Pastor Matt Schwenk officiating. Interment will follow in Etlan Cemetery. Pallbearers serving the family will be Guy Albright, Timmy Boetker, Tony Ricchiuto, Darren Browett, L.B. Edwards, Scottie Edwards, Chris “Tater” Summers, and Josh Lauria.
