Charles Francis Cranfield Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Francis Cranfield, Sr., 44, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Charlie was a loving husband and father. He was a man of great pride and dignity; who was always there to help his family and friends.
Charlie was a member of Moose Lodge # 1655. To his friends and family he was known as “Good Time Charlie”. He will be truly missed by all.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Barbara Lynn Cranfield; three sons, Charles (CJ), Dominic and Jonathan; three daughters, Brittney, Kayla and Heather; two sisters, Michelle Goeden and her husband, Michael and Carolyn Lopez and her husband, Tony; his aunt and uncle, Jean and Larry Barwick; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Cranfield.
Charlie’s family will receive friends Friday, April 20, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Fields Community Church, 11120 Gordon Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Charlie’s family would be very grateful if you would honor his memory by assisting with his funeral and medical expenses. Donations can be made to the Charles F. Cranfield Fund at any Union First Market Bank.
