Charles Edward Butler's Obituary
Charles “Boozie” Edward Butler, 81, of Culpeper, died Friday, March 14, 2025, at Dogwood Village of Orange. He was born November 6, 1943, in Culpeper to the late Mary Rebecca Butler.
Charles spent 39 years at Bingham Taylor. He loved bluegrass music and attended festivals every chance he got.
He is survived by his sister, Edna Rae Hess (Bernie); his niece, Melinda Gorman (James); his great-nephew, James Phillip Gorman, Jr.; his aunt, Barbara Butler; his uncle, James “Jimmy” Butler; special cousins, Peggy Mesimer (Earl), Michelle Ward, and Cameron Brown; and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.

Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers serving the family will be Earl Mesimer, Jimmy Butler, Bruce Butler, Mike Dugan, Benny May, and Jason Ward.
