Chance Logan Jett's Obituary
Chance Logan Jett, 21, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018.
He graduated from Massaponax High School in 2015. He was attending Virginia Tech with future aspirations to become a lawyer and have a career in local politics.
Chance was a loving son, brother and uncle. He always had a witty comment for his friends and family. He loved music. Chance was frugal and thrifty which was easily made known by one of his favorite hobbies, “junking” as he called it.
He was preceded in death by his Nanny, Flossie Powell.
Chance is survived by his mother, Annette Jett, his father, James Jett, two brothers, Cory McCarthy and Austin McCarthy, and his wife, Mary, a sister, Morgan Jett, two nieces, Olivia and Amelia, a nephew, Adam “Leroy”, his maternal grandmother, Connie Champ, his paternal grandparents, Jim and Deana Jett, and many other loving extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Burial will follow in Mine Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Relay for Life fundraisers at donate.cancer.org.
