Cenie "Faye" Burke's Obituary
Cenie “Faye” Burke, 66, of Culpeper died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 10, 1952 in Culpeper to the late William Sr. and Mildred Carder Burke.
Faye is survived by her companion, Willie Hume, Jr.; two children, Michelle Lynn Hoffman and her husband, Bobby of Culpeper, and Angela Marie Gibson and her husband, Jeffery Gibson of Culpeper; three siblings, William Earl Burke, Jr. and his wife, Wanda of Charlottesville, Lewis Wayne Burke of Culpeper, and Patricia Ann Cox and her husband, Joe of Wapakoneta, OH; and her aunt, Cenie Thompson.
Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Madison Jefferies, Brooke Gibson and Taylor Gibson, all of Culpeper; and one great grandchild, Elizabeth Rose Aguilar.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Haddie Carder, and Marshall and Alberta Burke; one granddaughter whom she raised, Shelby Nicole Greene; and her aunts and uncles, Bill and Ann Carder, and Harold and Laura Buraker.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
