Cecilia Gay Degraef's Obituary
Cecilia Gay Robinson Degraef, 54, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Cecilia was born Dec. 3, 1955. She was a very creative person and enjoyed bowling, scrapbooking and most of all, playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Robinson, of Colonial Beach; lifetime partner, Jack Samuels; two sons, Jason Degraef and his wife, Brianna, and Kyle Degraef; five grandchildren, Mason, Aiden and Madison Degraef and Justin and Katie Grimm; five brothers, Mike Robinson of Ohio, Steve Robinson of Fredericksburg, Pat Robinson of California, Brian Robinson of Iowa and George Robinson Jr. of California; and two sisters, Colleen Wilson of Colonial Beach and Margurite Ferreira of Maryland. She also leaves behind a close friend, Donna Kratzert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Robinson Sr.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 11, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A celebration of Cecilia's life will follow at noon in the chapel. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
