Cato Edward Brown's Obituary
Cato Edward Brown, 59, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Cato served in the US Navy for four years and was a member of Strong Tower Ministries.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Karen B. Brown; a son, Sean L. Brown of the home; a daughter, Evelyn J. Bates and her husband, Donovan of Alexandria; his mother, Audrey Saunders of Washington, DC; three brothers, Anthony Saunders and his wife, Pam of Kannapolis, NC, Aaron Brown of Clinton, MD and Tim Brown and his wife, Josephine of Washington, DC; his step grandmother, Emma Saunders of Washington, DC; two granddaughters, Andraya and Naomi Bates and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Brown.
Cato’s family will receive friends Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 10:00-11:00am at Strong Tower Ministries, 234 Ferry Road, Fredericksburg. A memorial service celebrating Cato’s life will follow at 11:00am at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Cato’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to a charity of your choice.
